Meran began her 4th soccer season today with a double header. Ofcourse, it was a very warm 91* which made it intense for all the players, but the girls did great! Jason and his brother, Eric, are coaching together again~which makes it extra fun for Meran & Rylee. This year, in the 10 and under age group, they have BIG fields, REAL Goals and Refs and GOALIES. It is going to be a fun season! I love watching her hustle! Go Tsunami Girls...Wipe them out!
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations. Psalms 89:1

Labor Day @ the Lake
***
We look forward to it half the year...Our annual family get together at the Hume Lake Country Fair that takes place over Labor Day weekend. This year we had 16 kids, (ages 12 & under) and anywhere from 18-24 adults, depending on who came to dinner each night. Needless to say we had a ball, enjoying God's creation, supporting Hume (it is their big fundraising event) eating lots of good food, fishing, swimming and boating in the lake, s'mores, jump roping...
So thankful that Jason's parents bought the cabin at Hume Lake a few years ago~so many great memories have been made and are yet to be made.
