Mother's Day

Most of my adult life we have lived in Visalia so we always spent Mother's Day with my wonderful Mother-in-law (seriously the best a girl could ask for)! However, I didn't always get to spend them with my own mom. Now that we are closer, I took the opportunity to host it this year. My parents came for lunch and we enjoyed a relaxing day in the backyard, accompanied by the fabulous breeze Point Loma brings each afternoon!

Our old ( but young ) friends, Becca & Jared Tilley, were in San Diego last weekend. Becca has taken some of my favorite pictures of my kids. She also did a photo shoot of our family in 2011, before we left Visalia, as a going away gift. That was very special, as it was right before I started treatment and lost my hair.
These pictures mark a new chapter too... We are very settled in our new home. We have grown both physically and spiritually. We are content where He has us, but not complacent.
