When we got to the cabin on Friday night it was cold...but, not much snow left on the ground from the last storm, which was before Christmas. On Saturday, our good friends, the Saltzmans, joined us (some know them better as the 5 k's=Kevin, Karin, Kayla, Kenna, Kaden). They brought the snow with them I guess because a few hours after they arrived it began to snow! The kids were thrilled. We had walked down the hill to camp, for coffee & ice cream, so we then had to walk "up hill in the snow" (but not both ways:) back to the cabin.It was a very relaxing and fun weekend-lots of food, sitting by the fire and movie watching!
Both Meran and Jameson came home with "injuries"...Meran has a bruise and scrape underneath her chin from sledding "off a cliff" as she described to her friends at school (really it was a small boulder, but Jason said she got some air!).Jameson's was not so exciting-he banged his forehead on the doorknob of our room-leaving a small goose egg. We'll just pretend it is from sledding too!
