I hold down his hands just incase he didn't remember how bad it hurts to touch something hot!****
Sutton is 2. Where did the time go? My very wise 8 year old daughter said a few weeks ago,"why does time go faster as you get older?"
Sad that she is noticing this during her 8th year!
Pure truth though. I can remember hanging out in the hospital room with our newest, like it was last week. When Jameson came into the room to see his new brother he asked in a sweet, just-turned-3-years-old voice, "why he have a party hat on?" (meaning Sutton's knit beanie they put on newborns at the hospital.)
Sutton has covered much ground since he has been here...traveled, learned new things, made new friends, got lots of new teeth, tried lots of new foods, and been to the ER twice! (his hand is healing remarkably fast, by the way). I am so thankful that God gave us Sutton...he keeps us on our toes.
It's good to see a happier cheerful Sutton after those sad little ER photos. Who would have though that you and I would both be at a Children's hospital with a kid recently.
