She is 3

Our baby turned three last Wednesday. Meran and I left on her school trip to Sacramento and San Fran that morning, so determined to soak up Bellen's birthday, we began celebrating last Monday and are still carrying on!

I mean, how often do you turn 3? This is the last time we will have a toddler in our house....that lives here full time, anyway! I love the year 3! So much curiosity, self expression and NO more diapers!

Cheers to the next year baby girl! You bring us countless joy!

"Paradise" this side of Paradise

Aloha! We recently went to Maui (mahalo to my very generous parents) along with my brothers and their families. The older 2 learned to surf, we snorkeled, paddleboarded, swam, beached, ate delish fish, played with cousins and even went to a luau. We made memories we won't soon forget! And before we even left the island we were wracking our brains on how and when we could get back to paradise this side of true paradise! Maui no ka oi! (Maui is the best)
