California Adventure

At "A Bug's Life"

Really cute (and expensive) Candy Apples that i wanted to show my sister-in-law, Leslie...Reagan loves Minnie and is having a Minnie themed 2nd birthday party.

No, Jameson doesn't wear this shirt every day, Jason just is a BIG Lakers fan.

Riding buddies
On Memorial Day we took the "older" kids to CA Adventure, while Sutton enjoyed the day at home with Grandma & Grandpa Lozano. We are getting annual park passes this year, since it is Sutton's last year to enter the park free, we thought we better do it before it gets even MORE expensive. We had the best time-we even snuck over to D-land and hit Space Mountain and Matterhorn. Meran and Jameson think they liked them. We will take Sutton and return to Disneyland tomorrow to meet our friends.

School's Out! Summer's In!

I am cracking up because we were trying to get a pict of just the 2 of us (because it was our 11th anniversary!) and Meran and Jameson kept getting in it-hence the "head only" picture. They were determined not to let us get a picture without them!

On the San Clemente Pier with Grandma & Grandpa Lozano

We took a fabulous walk every morning! Not a bad way to begin each day.

Sharin' a snowcone at the San Clemente Polynesian Festival

Admiring the classic cars at the Festival

Jameson got his 1st pair of Flip-flops at the Rainbow Sandal Outlet! Yippee!!
No more wearing crocs everyday.

Sutty wasn't crazy about the sand at first, so he figured out how he could
avoid sand by perching on his sand bucket.

Thinking about Boogie-Boarding...but it was a bit too chilly in the water!

Sutty snacking

We found a yummy yogurt shop up the street~Velvet Yogurt. Jason had a hankering for it almost every evening after dinner.

Happy Kids

Go Lakers!
We kicked off the first week of summer with a trip to San Clemente Beach. A place that my family and I have been going since I was in high school. It is wonderfully relaxing little beach town in South Orange County. We stayed across the street from the beach and enjoyed the cool beach weather, many walks and great restaurants. We love that we parked and never moved our car until the day we drove home! That is our favorite type of vaca! We spent time with my parents, who were with us and Dustin, Lauren & Addi. Lots of great memories~that is why there are so many picts!

Jameson completed his 1st year of T-ball! It was fun and he learned alot about the game. Little bro, Sutty, can't wait for his turn...he might have learned the most...hhhmmm...

The Boys' Birthday Party

My friend Mary creates cute invites...
Happy about the white cupcake

Happy about the chocolate cupcake

No, he didn't like the giant bouncy mat!

Friends

Birthday Brothers

Today we celebrated Jameson's 5th & Sutton's 2nd Birthday at The Little Gym, with a party.

"Didn't I just have a birthday party yesterday for Meran?" you ask.

"Why yes, yes I did." I answer, slightly winded.

"Didn't you say you weren't going to do a bunch-o-parties again?" you reply.

"I did say that, but then a new year came, and I got caught up in the excitement of celebrating my children!" I say, not one bit ashamed.

Now, back to the birthday party...

It was mostly boys, with a few of our girlie-but-tough girlfriends and mostly Jameson's friends. But none of that mattered. The kids had a great time...you know how I can tell? Jameson was super sweat-y and Sutton was really quiet on the way home (sleepy baby!).

They jumped, bounced, ran, threw balls and laughed. We ate delicious baseball cupcakes, opened gifts, and (my personal favorite again) left the mess behind.

Now, next year I am thinking of....(stay tuned)

Meran's Birthday Party

Jameson's head is wet with sweat...yeah, he had fun!

Mer & Ry-best cousins

The Birthday Girl

Her favorite thing was sitting in this huge inflatable throne...

she wanted to stay there during dinner, dessert & gifts!

Birthdays are better with friends!

The Gang

Though her 8th birthday is still 2 weeks away, we had Meran's "friend" party today. We held it at BOINGO's Bounce House. She had 18 guests...they had quite a ball! For dessert, I made mini bundt cakes for each girl, at Meran's request. A personal highlight was that we just walked away from the mess!!!

Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy...CHECK!

After-party at BJ's Pizza

The Fam

Jason is DONE with school. Hip-Hip-Hooray! 3 Cheers for determination!
It took 8 years, but he has completed 2 Master's Degrees. The most recent being in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is excited, we are excited, everyone is excited! No more papers-No more night classes-No more weekly commutes! Congrats Jason! WE ARE PROUD OF YOU...
and the degrees are just a small reason why!

Jameson Turns 5 Years Old

Still my baby
Celebrating at Red Robin

Daddy bought him his first gun...yikes!

Present time!

We brought brownies in the shape of "J" and chocolate milk
to preschool for a little Pirate Birthday Party

I am certainly not sure how and when this happened, but, Jameson turned 5 years old on Tuesday! My sweet, intense, talkative, friendly, energetic, green eyed-boy...to know him is to love him. If you aren't his friend when you meet him, you will be when you say good-bye. He loves SuperMario Brothers, Tom & Jerry, laughing and play-fighting with his dad, anything Chocolate and to rub the skin on my arms when he is tired. He would play house with his sister all day if she would do it, but always agrees to be the student when she says she will only play school with him. He lets his baby brother play with all his toys and never complains that Sutton is in his room AND will clean up the mess that Sutty made without too much complaint when I ask him to. Jameson Wesley Neese we are very super fond of you and thank the Lord for blessing our family with you!
