Blessings

Blessings come in all shapes and sizes.
Here are a few ways I have been blessed the past few days...
1)Nurse Dan found a good vein, right away...no blown veins, no pain!
2)Bellen has been sleeping all night~finally (since that sweet little baby is about to be 1!)
3)Many sweet people have brought us meals
4)I have found a medicine that holds back much of bothersome physical side effects for this particular treatment...no tingly hands (ok, a little tingly, but bear-able!)

I love the Lord, because he has heard My voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me. Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
Gracious is the Lord and righteous; Yes, our God is merciful. The Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low and he saved me. Return to your rest, O my soul, For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.
Psalm 116:1-2, 5-7

  1. Britton, I haven't met you yet personally but I am praying for you and believing that the Lord is healing you completely! I'm the Worship Pastor here at the Rock (for about another week - as my hubby and I relocated for his work). Anyways, our God puts people who have suffered with cancer on my heart frequently (daily, hourly, really) and I believe now part of what the Lord wants from me for this next season of my life is to pray for those who are suffering. So I will continue to lift you up, my sister. :) I have seen the Lord heal personally & in our choir recently - and I know He is doing it for you, too. Be encouraged and know that you have prayer warriors all over interceding. :) Take care, Stefanie Kelly

  2. Good Morning Sweet Britton - I have tried to post a couple of times, but for some reason, it wouldn't go through.

Anyways, you are on my mind daily and I have been praying for a complete healing!

I know this is just a season, but a tough one, and think you are quite amazing with the great attitude that you have!

    Love you sweet girl!

  3. Hola Britton and Jason....you may not remember me but I am a missionary from Yorba Linda Friends Church and I remember serving with you when you were living in OC. It's me Letty. Remember me the crazy Cuban :)
Britton, I was talking with your mom today and I was asking her about the family and she mentioned that you are undergoing treatment for Breast Cancer. I wanted to let you know that you will be in my prayers. Last year around this time my mom called me and told me that the doctors found "C" cells in her breast. Cancer is a word we don't want to hear but it is a reality. My mom had surgery followed with chemo and radiation. I was flying back and forth to NY almost every month to be with my mom. My mom finished her radiation in mid oct and has returned to work. Praise God for doctors and family. I can’t imagine going through this without Him, family and friends. Mainly friends who are prayer warriors.
